In the list of the top ten risks for this year as identified by the Eurasia Group, the U.S. – China relationship ranked number one, followed by geopolitical risks in Iran and fiscal challenges in “emerging” Eurozone members, compared to their more mature counterparts. The list of the top ten risks did not include such “hot spots” as Afghanistan and Iraq.
