The Political Risk Insurance Center (PRI-Center) is an information portal Web site providing free access to online political risk management and insurance resources. The PRI-Center was established in 2006 as part of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency's (MIGA) mandate to promote foreign direct investment to developing countries, so as to enhance growth and development.

The PRI-Center provides a searchable database of Web-based documents on political risk environments; on legal issues related to arbitration, mediation and other investment dispute resolution and prevention mechanisms; research findings and analyses of political risk issues and their relationship to foreign direct investment (FDI), as well as specialized tools for practitioners. All information is catalogued by country, topic and sector. The PRI-Center also provides directories of political risk insurance providers, intermediaries and advisers/consultants. Highlights and news items relevant to FDI and political risk, industry news and events are also posted on the Web site. In designing and maintaining the Web site, MIGA actively engages with other organizations, including public and private export credit and political risk insurance agencies and leading private sector information providers.

In addition to PRI-Center, MIGA also operates FDI.net - a portal site providing free access to FDI information resources, and FDI Promotion Center - a specialized Web site offering a collection of resources and tools to support organizations seeking to attract and retain FDI.
